4CS, the leader in Warranty and Service lifecycle management, has helped many leading durable goods manufacturers to optimize their warranty and services processes. 4Sight is a detailed assessment performed by experts from 4CS to help companies identify areas for improvement within service lifecycle and prepare a plan for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of those processes leading to warranty cost savings and increased service revenues. Areas of evaluation can include warranty management, Technical Support, Service Parts, Service Delivery and Warranty & Service analysis.

4Sight Process

The assessment will include a 2 to 3 day on-site meetings. A 4CS expert will conduct in-depth interviews with key stakeholders in the customer’s organization to understand the current processes, unique business needs, and current system landscape. Interview topics will concentrate on understanding:

  • How the company currently manages warranty and service processes;
  • How those processes can be improved to meet strategic business objectives, and
  • How the 4CS suite of products can be utilized to implement best practices

Another important aspect of the assessment is the calculation and quantification of what the current inefficiencies are costing the organization and the ROI for planned changes.

4Sight Deliverables

The following are key deliverables that will be provided to the customer as part of 4Sight assessment processes

4Sight Summary – This document will sum up the 4CS findings and includes a list of problem areas with suggested process and software changes to improve these areas. The summary will provide the estimate of cost savings or revenue growth through software automation.

4Sight Recommendations – An executive presentation that lists the assessment findings and recommendations. This presentation will be used to describe the findings and can also be used by customers to build consensus with other stakeholders in the organization.

4CS SOW –Statement of Work (SOW) document will provide detailed cost estimate for the suggested 4CS software modules and implementation plan for those modules. The proposed software modules, their configuration and integration to existing software will be described in the SOW. The estimated length of deployment, resource requirements (both 4CS and customers), and deployment process will also be provided.
