Policy Management
Policy management helps the warranty group to manage the warranty policies, coverage details and reimbursement terms offered to customers, dealers and suppliers. Policies can vary by product category, region, time period, usages and other factors. Policies and coverages can be configured and updated easily.
The right policies are assigned to the products at the time of product registration or claim processing. All claims are validated for coverage entitlement and payment is automatically determined based on the specified reimbursement terms eliminating errors and excess warranty payments.
Product Management
iWararnty Product Management enables companies to track the product from the time it is built until the end of life. Product Serial numbers and Bill of Material (BOM) are loaded from ERP/MRP systems when the product is manufactured. As maintained BOM is updated as different transactions like Service orders and claims change the component parts on the product providing up to date product configuration/BOM. The updated BOM reflects all parts that where originally installed, replaced, or repaired.
Product Registration tracks the registration of new products as well as transfer of products to new owners providing companies up to date and valid customer information. Service Contract registration and fleet management allows tracking of the products beyond the standard warranty period.
Business Partner Management
All stake holders involved in the warranty and service processes including manufacturers, distributors, dealers, customers, suppliers and other business partners can be managed within iWarranty Warranty Center. Various attributes based on business partner type are maintained and used in processing various warranty and service transactions.
Authorized users from business partners can access the iWarranty system online and perform their specific functions streamlining the warranty processes and reducing the cycle time.
Campaign Management Companies can manage product recalls or service campaigns including campaign definition, authorization and tracking. Campaign administrators can manage recall notifications and send recall information for assigned products to dealers and service centers. The campaign information is auto-filled in the claim based on campaign information and templates that are setup making it very easy for the dealers to submit campaign claims.
Users are notified of campaigns through the system automatically when a product with an open campaign is accessed. The notification can appear on a support request, service order, claim or just when searching product information. Automated emails of products with campaigns can also be set up to be sent to dealers or customers.
Suppliers can also participate in campaigns if their components are part of the recall. Supplier claims are generated based on campaign terms and conditions.
Administrators can also generate various reports within Service Intelligence like progress reports (% completed), remaining units, recall activity by dealer and region to verify effectiveness of the campaigns. Reports for regulatory compliance can be generated.
Labor Management
Labor reimbursement constitutes a significant portion of warranty costs and iWarranty helps companies manage and audit the labor payments on the claims. Warranty Center maintains standard labor guides by product category and labor rates by service center.
Claim processing validates the claimed labor against the standard labor times reducing the excess labor payments. Standard labor codes are cross referenced with component code and parts used in the repair operation to ensure the right labor and parts are used on the claims reducing the claim fraud.
